The Sovereignty School For Love: The SS4LOVE is a place where everyone is a teacher and everyone is a student; we create, explore, invent, make music and dreams, we share, read stories, incorporate math into most everything, we celebrate the universe and it's wonders, we dance and stretch, we sing and tell stories, we investigate nature and play outside.
As founder and head teacher of The SS4LOVE, I love each student and their family; I design curriculum with each student's interests, challenges, and growth in mind. We are ever evolving and transforming according to everyone's needs. The SS4LOVE is my dream.. an open-hearted community, a group of people who care about each other, a place for children and families to become more and more free, happy, and loved.
Our school is currently accepting new families to join our crew of adventurers. All ages are welcome, ages 0-7 years old is where we're at right now. If you are older.. we can discuss adventure tutoring options, an apprenticeship program, or guest teaching at The SS4LOVE. If you are interested in being on our staff.. please introduce yourself.
The Sovereignty School For Love is homeschooling with a group of children, like group tutoring. My intentions are to create a community for children and their families to feel at home in and to feel celebrated and accepted. Not only do I aim for children to make friends and learn together, I'm also aiming for whole families to create bonds with other families, developing a greater support network for your children and for you as parents and people.
Everyone at The SS4LOVE is a teacher and everyone is a student. Everyone has something to share and a new perspective to bring to our awareness. I create curriculum every week focusing on developing each child's skills, challenging them where they excel and creatively working on what they haven't grasped yet. We learn, make, explore, invent, play, discuss, move, and create. We learn about and explore: nature, art, music, yoga, math, science, storytelling-writing/ reading/drawing/acting, sharing, expressing feelings and thoughts, independence, self-confidence, self-love, loving and caring for friends, the universe, and spirit.
The Sovereignty School For Love is a school where the teachers are engaging, happy, and truly love the students; children feel at home and free to lead activities, parents are invited to guest teach and offer curriculum ideas, and everyone feels they are a part of a community they are a special, important part of.
Our classes are three hours long. A nice amount of time for a delicate introduction to an environment outside your own home.
Different kids come different days. I only have 3 kids per class. This keeps our daily schedule fluid, flexible, and following where the kiddos interests are.
The SS4LOVE is held at my home, in the back garden, across the street at the urban farm, around the neighborhood, and wherever we field trip to. "School" is held on Planet Earth.. everywhere you are, you're learning.
